I had been to Victory before the renovation, but after visiting the new renovated pub I felt the need to review it.

Atmosphere: A new much larger area that has a nice long bar against the back wall. Nice table seating was available and the space seemed nice and roomy. Bright lights kept the room looking cheery even though it is still a warehouse with an open ceiling.

Quality: Everything Victory does is quality. Of course the beer is quality as is the food. The renovation just makes the place all that much nicer, but retains it's brew pub type feel.

Service: I sat at the bar and the bartender was very busy since it was re-opening day. Still he served my beers quickly and was ready for quick refills. The food came quickly and was piping hot. I had a great experience.

Selection: Outstanding beer selection with over 20 taps and 4 cask beers on tap every day. All I can say is wow, if you can't enjoy this tap lineup, will you ever? I was in for lunch, so I had the lunch menu but still it was a nice selection of pub food.

Food: Nice menu (lunch menu) and the new smoked pork sandwiches are excellent. Overall the food was pub food, but still it was very good.

Value: Not bad, but the sandwich I had was on the high side at $ 9.00, but I gave it a "reasonable" rating becasue the beer prices are excellent.

Overall a must visit, and even more so if you are a Victory fan. Just having the 3 cask beers flowing all the time is worth the trip alone, but don't go there for just that, make sure you experience the entire place. The new growler filling is cool and still very reasonable if you bring your own growlers. A fine place, I'll be back for sure.

I had not been to Victory in years, and when the wife and I arrived there on a sunny, late-summer Saturday evening, the place was the madhouse we expected it to be. Packed, loud and full of babies and children. But we got a spot in the bar area and quickly ordered some beers, followed by dinner at a table after a short wait. Despite the size and the crowds, they seem to manage the spot pretty smartly.

25 beers on tap is a damn fine amount, running the gamut from HopDevil to Storm King, DirtWolf, Golden Monkey, Noble IPA, Wild Devil, Rye IPA, Green House Saison and more. A bit for everyone, all served in full pints at excellent prices (under six dollars for Storm and DirtWolf). Three casks as well, and two bottles (White Monkey and V-12).

The food menu is as massive as the Victory operation itself, and it comes with new additions every day. We had some gnocchi, a small pizza, an eggplant dish and handmade chips. Good stuff overall. Not high-end good, but satisfying and well made. The emphasis on local ingredients is a nice touch.

At around sixty bucks for a bunch of beers and all that food, I didn’t find Victory to be expensive. Will definitely come back!
