Large taproom at the brewery in west Honolulu featuring all their beers on tap and some in cans to go. Indoor and outdoor outdoor seating. Also a huge selection of T-shirts and other apparel. Most of the beers were just OK but they had several special batches that were really good.

My wife and I visited Honolulu Beerworks a few months back, before the pandemic hit, and I'm just getting 'round to adding my notes now.
The space has a cool build out with picnic tables in a warehouse setting, but very welcoming. The brewhouse is open to the taproom, which I love. When I visited, there were 13 beers on tap; I had the session IPA which was very good indeed. The Pink Boots IPA was also quite decent. The brown ale and coconut Hefeweizen are very well done indeed.
As for food, I had the cobb salad, which was good. Service was good, if a little slow. They also have some cocktails; my wife had one and it was tasty indeed. Overall, I definitely recommend Honolulu Beerworks.

Tucked around the bend off the main drive in Honolulu, this brewery is open air and inviting. True brewery vibe, and they have plenty of tropical takes on classic styles. The cocoweisen was a personal favorite. I'd make the trip here as its close to the shopping area and not off the path.

Great place to relax and people watch. The beers are good and their special releases keep me quite surprised. Wish they had a better selection of darker beers. Food is fantastic!

Great beer choices and cheap pints.
Food selection is minimal, but the few choices they have are quite good.
Music is way too loud for a beer joint, almost had a club like volume for the top 40 drivel.

Came here with a few coworkers when I was in Honolulu for a conference. Pretty fun open-air atmosphere with some seating outside as well. Most of the beer was good, I think they had 15 or so on tap. The food was also excellent!

Hands down best brewery on island IMO. Great chill spot in a great location of the island. Beers are decent with a few I can drink regularly. The greenstone IPA is one to keep with others needing tweaks. Not a bad place to stop when on island!

Probably the best brewery on Oahu currently. The Sheltered Bay IPA and South Shore Stout are both solid. Everything else is pretty average, but I think they have potential. Service has been hit or miss when we visited. There is only street parking, which is pretty typical for Honolulu.

12 house ales on tap! Interesting range, with a bit of emphasis on IPAs when we visited.

Pretty good food too. Pretty basic and simple menu, but very good with what they do have. Nice special twists on some recipes too with additions of fruit and stuff. Great atmosphere as well.

Great local brewery located in the up and coming Kaka'ako. Friendly staff not hesitant to provide insight as to your beer questions and an outstanding brewery/pub/restaurant layout. Highly recommend to new and old looking for a great brew. Cheers and Okole Maluna!

We stopped in here last Saturday afternoon and had an enjoyable time. The staff was friendly and helpful, even the owner Geoff Seideman stopped and talked story with us for a bit. The bar chairs are comfortable and the open area has picnic tables with a nice open feeling. You can see the brewery action going on as well on one side. Some of the beers that we liked were the Barrel Rye'd, Sheltered IPA, Cooke Street ESB and the Animal Farmhouse Ale. The food menu was limited but the Pacific Salmon Salad Sandwich and the Caesar Salad were both good. We'll definitely be looking forward to watching this brewery as it develops.

I really liked the brewery itself. Great set up, with a nice sized TV for the game, good bit of seating, but not too crowded. It had a great vibe to it. We ordered the Italian sub and the salad, both were pretty good. The beer on the other hand, wasn't impressed. With the exception of the Barreled Rye'd and the Pia farmhouse, everything had a similar taste. Not sure, if it was because they used the same yeast for just about everything or what. I really wanted to try the Sheltered Bay IPA, but they were out. I heard it's a new place, so I'l give their beers some time, then give them a shot again.

My wife and I went here while on our honeymoon in the Hawaiian islands with a buddy who lives on Oahu.
I really dug the space. Big open air warehouse atmosphere complete with picnic tables, bar in the middle, concrete floors and everything else you would expect from this set-up Very laid back, comfortable, and inviting.
The beer was good/solid, and some of it quite good, but nothing really stood out or was mind blowing. I'm just happy to see that Hawaii has an emerging craft beer scene. Although, from what I can gather it's very much in its infancy. But, with places like this, REAL Gastropub (right down the street), Maui Brewing, and Big Island Brewhaus, they're definitely doing it right so far from what I can tell.
Service was very friendly. One of the bartenders is a Certified Cicerone, and she actually joined us at our table for a while (my buddy who lives there knows her). She was a great host and quite delightful; very friendly, and of course very knowledgeable. More than happy to discuss their beer with us, beer in general, and I'm sure non-beer related topics were brought up as well!
Beer selection is good, they have a dozen or more house beers on tap (someone please correct me if I'm wrong).
They do serve food. I had some pork tacos, and my wife had some mac'n'cheese. Both were quite tasty. Above average bar food.
I thought the beer and food prices were both very reasonable, especially considering that it's Hawaii.
If you find yourself on Oahu, I'd say this is a don't skip place, much like REAL.
