Pours a clouded straw gold with very little head. Nose is metallic with a good bit of yeast and some sugar there too. Flavor is tangy, but a bit too thin as it goes towards a metallic edge fairly soon and then gives you a really strong metallic aftertaste. Feel is nice with a thick body from ingredients but a milder carbonation. Overall this is a unique brew. However I think it lacks quality and a real strong positive character. Nice to try, but I doubt I will go back to it.

11.2 oz bottle pours a clear and translucent pale yellow body with a creamy vanilla head that rises about 2 cm. Good retention and patchy lace.
Aroma is restrained, with floral hops and mild sweetness that seems to be from pale or crystal malts.
Mouthfeel is light bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mild hops bite.
Taste is well balanced with bittering floral hops and gentle malt sweetness that is biscuity.
Very nicely drinkable and well crafted. This is more like a Czech pils than a Euro pale lager, but the label says it's a lager. Definitely, worth a try.

Got this beer as part of a Beers of the World 12 pack I received as a Christmas present. I believe this is the first Belgian lager I have ever had. This beer is a creamy yellow color with a decent sized head that leaves much lacing as it dissappears. Tastes malty and sweet with some hops thrown it. Sort of dry and bitter as well I suppose, but not too dry. Smell is somewhat modest and similar to the taste. This beer leaves a nice crisp mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. A very drinkable beer indeed. Definetly one of the tastier lagers I have had. Not as tasty as one might think based on its appearance either. I'd drink this again.

Aroma: Surprisingly malty and sweet. Sweet spices of cloves, corriander and orange peel. Slightly yeasty and organic. Slightly corn like.

Appearance: Golden to yellow. Nice snow white head, quite creamy looking. Held firm. Nice medium carbonation. Laced well.

Taste: Pleasantly sweet and malty. Hopped only for flavor and bitter balance. Slightly organic and grainy. Slightly vegetable like butter popcorn (not to a flaw). Mouthfeel is creamy and a bit oily. Slick finish. Nicely sweet, not dry.

Aftertaste: Crisp, refreshing, clean. Doesn't linger long.

Impression: Not usually a big fan of lagers, I was impressed with this one. Has quality pils flavors with belgian spice. A successful blen.

This is a nice German style Lager from Belgium. This is a dark golden colour with a whipped-cream like head of foam. Aromas are quite malty, and heavily reminiscent of German O-Fest beers or Marzens. The taste is malty as well, with jus ta hint of hops making themselves known on the back of the tongue. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and right on, and the drinkability is nice as well. An odd beer from Belgium, as it is VERY German in style!
