A: This beer is translucent dirty golden, with a decent foamy head the edges on the edges, providing a little lacing.
S: Smell is piney in nature, but not overwhelmingly so. There is also a bready, grain-based smell in there (wet cardboard a little bit)
T/M: Pretty bitter from the get go, grapefruit/rind. There is a lack of complexity, but it can be appreciated for being straightforward. There is a body to the beer, decent carbonation, and the end feel is a bit dry and resinous. The late taste into the aftertaste brings the pine from the smell.
O: solid beer that has the hops play a decent role. Could be a little more complex, but for especially for a startup brewery, it is quite enjoyable.
Serving type: on-tap
