Clear amber color with slightly beige head. Aroma is quite malty and grainy with some biscuits and earthy notes. Taste is quite balanced. The malts are present from start to finish, mostly bready, but the hops keep it drinkable with a nice background bitterness. Medium body with high effervescence. Overall, for a gluten free beer, it's actually quite decent.

Feb. 2018: 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Organic & gluten free. ABV is 6.5%. Amber to reddish brown colour, large to moderate off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, brown sugar, mild spices and salt of hartshorn. The flavour has a moderate sweetness, with the same elements as the aroma. Minimal hops.

Copper colour, compact medium head with long retention, compact lace.
Aroma of raisins, yeast, berries.
Medium to full body, sticky texture, good carbonation.
Taste of yeast, like if you were eating raw flour, raisins, licorice.
Not my cup of tea

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled in 6/2014. Pours hazy deep orange/copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of apricot, strawberry, plum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, brown bread, light chocolate/nuttiness, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of apricot, strawberry, plum, pear, apple, pepper, clove, caramel, toast, biscuit, brown sugar, brown bread, light chocolate/nuttiness, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, strawberry, pear, apple, caramel, toast, biscuit, brown bread, light chocolate/nuttiness, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice Belgian amber ale style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

A: Copper amber and almost a metallic beauty to it, hazy all the way, 4 fingers of creamy beige head. Nice random lacing.
S: Caramel, fruity, strawberries, fresh peaches, hint of smokiness, sweet and floral.
T: Orange, a little caramel, green strawberries, peaches, a dull hit of bitterness, a little smokiness, light sweetness.
M: Medium lightly syrupy body medium carbonation.
O: Got and drank in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Dec 5th, 2014. Really enjoying this beer, especially with Burmese Chicken and Potato Curry, as well as Burmese Mango Salad. The Mango salad is much milder than Thailand’s, and it was a good match. Also tried it with standard Thai fair, spicy chicken which was also a great match. Really well crafted brew for a Bio, gluten free beer.
