Been sitting on this one for a while now...brought one back from my last trip to belgium about 2 years ago... wasn't sure it would even be good at this point.

Pours a murky copper brown. fizzy head that dissapates quickly.

smells is very understated, could be the age. slight belgian yeast. bread notes. not strong, but nice all the same.

This beer isn't what i expected, but is entirely nice. It's light in all regards....and i say that in the nicest way possible. This is a bruin that is highly carbonated and very drinkable, but not at all sweet. It isn't super complex, it's just a really good low abv super drinkable beer.

I really like this beer, but it falls into a odd space in the beer-o-verse. This is a rare, hard to find, limited production beer from a tiny brewery in belgium, that drinks like the best everyday beer you could find at your local pub...if your local pub was in belgium!

This isn't a mind blowing beer in any way, but i would sip this brew any night at any bar i could find it.

Big thanks to turboedtwo for this bottle.

It's a gorgeous pour with a deep clear amber body with a steady stream of bubbles feeding a rocky off-white head that shows excellent retention and lacing.

The aroma is a combination of citrus fruits, pine and white grapes. There is some sweet malty aromas and a hint of earthy spices as well.

The taste has an even spicier character up front with some pine resin and the distinctive Nelson Sauvin chardonnay-type thing going on. The finish is sticky with pine resin hops.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied and sticky with moderate carbonation.

I don't have much experience with this brewery but I really enjoy this one. It's a great DIPA with a distinctive spicy character that makes it fairly unique.

Brown, with reddish-mahogany reflexes. Foam quickly falling.
The smell is caramel, rose flowers. Frank and sincere, without pretension. Candyh sugar. Peach. It has a fresh and pleasant flavour.
The taste is light, sweet, of candy sugar. Simple and drinkable. Essentially no bitter.
Lightly fruity (berry fruits), and perhaps pear.
Light light body.
In the aftertaste fruity again (pear), and some astringency. Tea? Camomile? Cheery?

Bottle: Poured a reddish color ale with a very small foamy head with almost no retention. Aroma is quite a mess with some unrefined grain and some sweetness but no tart notes or any oak. Taste is also quite a mess with strong unrefined grain notes and some unbalanced sweetness sand no tart or sour notes that I was expecting. I was expecting more but this was quite a letdown.
