A-Clear golden yellow with a spattering of white head.
S-Aroma is muted and there is a yeast skunky funk, this beer is 3 months old, so that is an unfortunate byproduct. The Galaxy hops do not shine through here sadly
M-Higher end carbonation with a watery body and dry mouthfeel
T-There is an unfortunate element of grass flavour, again likely because this can is three months old…
O-This beer is ok. Nothing great and does not provide Australian hops the platform they deserve. I’ve had much better, but might try again if I can find a fresher can…

Appearance: Greeted to a pinky's worth of head that despite being a bit low initially produced some solid lace and retained quite well. The body itself is a clear brassy gold with ample thin bubbled but slow and steady carbonation.
Smell: Hop forward but not out of control and grapefruit and a light beach sand note stand out in front with some biscuit malt in the back with maybe a hint of pineapple. Potency is good and seems to amp up a bit more as the beer warms up.
Taste: Regrettably that sand note permeates the taste of the beer, it doesn't start very strong initially as the malt and grapefruit seem well balanced with it initially, at which point that sandy note murders the malt and the grapefruit, understandably outraged rises to meet it's foe as a odd dry salt note seems to appear, but alas all for naught as the grapefruit is slain, as the sandy note falls to it's knees and slowly fades away.
Mouthfeel: A mixture of dry salt and clingy bitter sand in the aftertaste is not very appealing to me. The carbonation is powerful here, but it's allied with the aspects of the beer I am disliking, and while I will applaud that it stuck around, the low head doesn't help it's case here either. It's also quite dry, which really hurts its case more. Transistioning is a little rocky, but ok.
Drinkability: Light bodied and settles down well, but this is a rare beer that leaves me thirstier after having drank it. It's got the right amount of complexity, but a complex kick in the teeth is just as good as a baseball bat doing the same.
Final Thoughts: So apart from Coopers sparkling ale, I don't think I've yet to have a beer branded as Australian or New Zealand that I've actually enjoyed. This was incredibly disappointing after the initial appearance and smell appeared to show so much promise. I can't think of a time I would want to drink this again, so pass.

Pours pale gold with rather patchy head - aroma thinnish piney, some citrus and tropical fruit - the thinness means the bitterness is less appealing than it might be. Not sure what makes this beer Australian.

Great smooth tasting beer. Hints of citrus pine and hops. Very good feel. Very tasty. Pours mid amber for with foamy head. I feel like having another.

Bright orange gold, big head that settles to a substantial film. Lots of lace. Decent looking beer.
Fruity yeasty nose is pretty appetizing. Hops and apricots, some grain. Very nice. Soft and dry on the palate. Some sweetness up front, finishes dry. Behaves like a wheat beer, quite interesting and flavourful. Pretty tasty across the board. I like it. Fruity character, nice dose of yeast and wheat.
Quite drinkable, a little dry on the finish, but worth a try. A good effort, very tasty.
