Picked up a cold 6 pk of cans from local package store- $12 for a 6pk- I am a lover of all things rye and especially love a good dose of rye in my beer. This one had a soft citrus aroma, poured a nice orange color. Very little head, probably about 1/10 of an inch and it faded quick. Pretty highly carbonated with a great rye punch. But the overall taste, IMO, was a little watered down and a little too carbonated. You don't get much of the hop flavor on the palate. Not my favorite by any means, I would drink it at a restaurant of there weren't any better options and I would suggest that the Brewers up the grain bill slightly to get a little more solid background to avoid the watered down Taste is currently has.

12oz can. Pours a semi murky brownish orange with an inch of head. Good amount of lacing. The aroma is spicy rye, floral and citrus hops. The taste is mostly the rye but with some floral hop notes. Some bitter orange peel and hints of grapefruit. Bready with a rye finish. Minimal alcohol presence as expected. Light, slightly oily mouthfeel. It's an interesting twist on the recent string of Session IPAs. Works pretty well and I could see buying a six pack again during the warmer months. Overall, pretty good.

Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head that fizzes quickly and doesn't leave a trail. The smell was full of grapefruit notes that mixed with rye bread well. The taste was very refreshing with the rye giving a warm flavor to the beer and mellowed the hops to give a very well balanced beer. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a different style IPA.

A: Pours burnt auburn with small visible carbonation. Two fingers of off white
head. Good retention and above average lacing.

S: Sweet. Grains of Rye. Floral hops. Citrus. Grapefruit.

T/M: Spicy. Bitter hops. Floral. Grains. Rye. Malts. Rye. Light bodied with a
decent balance. Aftertaste is spicy and lingers as it turns to a grain flavor.

O: For a session IPA it does not lack in flavor. The inclusion of Rye grains is
nice and gives the beer a distinct flavor. The balance is nice and the beer is
refreshing.

Cheers!

On tap at local restaurant

Look - Golden Florida orange with about 1 cm of white foamy head which dissipated after a few sips
Smell - Hoppy sweetness with grapefruit and tangelo overtones
Taste - Easy to drink IPA initial citrus and floral flavor with a smooth bitter ending -
Feel - Good mouth feel with medium carbonation

Overall - So drinkable I ordered another - A good session IPA
