From City Brew Tours, no dating on the can.
Pours black with a nice head of tan foam, lacing isn't too shabby.
The smell is roasted malt, chocolate, but oh that peanut butter is strong.
The taste is chocolate, peanut butter, roasted malt. Thankfully, even though it's labeled as a peanut butter Porter, the taste isn't totally dominant to my palate. Unlike the smell.
Medium bodied with ample carbonation, this is good but it's a one and done.

12oz bottle. No dating found. Label lists awards from 2014, 2018, and 2020.
Deep brown colored body. One finger of tan, small bubble head. Spots and partial sheets of lacing.
Aroma is intense with peanut paste. Roasted malts also.
Taste is chocolate and roasted malts, and then the peanut flavor arrives. The peanut flavor is what remains in the after taste. From mid point on there is a sharper flavor that is the essence of high peanut domination. After the mouth adjusts, the flavors combine to be rather sweet.
Medium mouth feel, and slightly creamy. Good carbonation.
A porter that is highly infused with peanut, but the flavors get a little sweet as the bottle's contents are imbibed.

The peanut taste is just way too dominant for me. Other than that, it's a great brew. It looks great! It smells fantastic (if you like peanut) and feels good!

Lighter black with a tan bubbly ring. Roasted malt, toast and peanut butter on the smell. Taste has bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt, peanut butter, toast, but it has some metallic flavors. Body is thin, roasted, ighly carbonated and sharp to the point that it distracts from the peanut butter flavoring.

Not sure how folks go into a peanut butter porter and not expect either a sweet candy beer to me I love sweet and get sad when I see a peanut butter beer taste like powdered peanut butter Whey protein. This one fired in the right direction with liquid sweet peanut butter goodness with just a hint of chocolate and an almost brown malt like finish slightly herbal. I had to do a double take since I could have sworn it read porter and it does. Body is light to medium kind of slick but it does fault from a tad bit of over carbonation. Overall for what it is the beer has its flaws but its damn close to what it advertises BRAVO!

Unknown vintage; drank 4/28/19 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dark brown appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE tan head (careful pouring!); thick, frothy lace.
Peanut butter, milk chocolate, mild hoppiness & faint fresh notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel with lots of carbonation bite.
Sweet peanut butter & milk chocolate flavors up front; mild hop bite & faint fresh earth notes on the finish.
A bit of a mess; VERY sweet with too much carbonation. It's not an abomination, but it's not a beer I'll have again either.

I like it, but I'm not sure I like it any more than sweet baby jesus which it tastes exactly the same as... but at twice the price.

Had this on tap at Jungle Jim's Friday Pint Night. Could barely finish it; was like drinking liquified peanuts, I like peanuts, but not a whole pint of them! I think I will stick to drinking beers that taste like beer.
