16oz can, no apparent freshness date. Thanks to my friend, Ken, for giving me a can to try. Foamy tan head caps a black colored stout. Dark chocolate, lactose, roast, and a hint of anise for aroma. Sweeter flavors of dark chocolate, lactose, vanilla, mild roast & caramel, very modest bitterness. Creamy and smooth full body, lower carbonation, more sweet than bitter overall. Yeah, this was good/no complaints. First stab at this brewery, and I'd be interested in trying more.

Nitro pour into a can glass is almost black with a 1/2 inch tan head. Head settles to a constant 1/8 inch and lacing dots the full height of the glass.
Coffee aroma dominates but it give some space to hints of chocolate and malt in the flavor.
Thick creamy feel is almost chewy and and it lingers on the tongue.
I'm not a coffee fan, but this is nice.
