Brown color with a creamy light brown head.

Smell of roasted malt, light sourness, some citrus and spiciness.

Tastes of roasted malt, some caramel and chocolate, a bit of citrus. Hopy, bitter finish. Maybe a little too bitter for a brown ale type of beer.

Medium bodied and light carbonation.

Had it on tap at The Red Lion Pub in Gothenburg.

The beer is clear brown with hints of orange, the head is light beige, rather small leaving little lacing.

The smell is mostly malty, bread and bread crust.

The taste is upfront sweet, much maltiness - brown bread, a good measure of acidity, rhubarbs and apples. There is also much hoppy bitterness.

Rather low carbonation, smooth and pleasant.

A bit uneven, more acidity and bitterness than expected - but not bad!

This murky chestnut bronw looks delicious. The massive three finger head slowly fades to a one finger thick lid.

The smell is dry and hopy right from the start. Citrus and dry grass comes to mind as well as hints of butter, roasted malts and coffee.

The taste is not as hopy as the smell sudgested. Both the citrus and the dry grass are still present. There's also lots of dry sweetness and hints of alcohol. Hints of sour dough as well...

The mouthfeel is smooth and dry through out. Maybe a bit thin for my taste. I guess I had a bit too high expectations.

This is a very well balanced beer, no doubt about it. Great quality as allways from Nynäs.

The colour is brown; the liquid is clear. The low head is pale brown.

The smell is sweet with notes of brown bread, coffee and a chemical hint of wood and phenols.

The taste got a bit more hops than I had expected, and none of those dusty notes that I associate with brown ales. Flavours of bread, crisp bread and those Nynäshamns house flavours of chipboard and wood. The aftertaste is a bit sweet with more of those brown bread and wood notes plus a gentle sour flavour.

The carbonation is light, the liquid smooth.

A brown ale with a fine American hop flavour.
