Ecological beers is something which I think really is a child in time so to speak. It's important, but can you brew good, ecological, beer? We're about to find out! Here it goes;
The beer pours a brown/amber color with a nice and big white head. Looks really nice actually!
Aroma holds some spicy, yeasty notes with a nice touch of roasted malts. There are also some nice hints of caramel aswell.
Taste is nice but a bit too "spicy" maybe, there are no spices added, but I've heard and experienced that Nynäshamn have a quite spicy yeast character. But behind all these spices there are some nice notes of bitter hops and some caramell.
A good beer, but why can't they brew something more exciting but still ecological?

A slightly hazy rather pale straw colored brew, a white fluffy head, lots of lacing.
The smell has sweet raisin-like components, orange sour notes, bitter hops, and some Alka-selzer.
Tasting of some sweet bread, rather much bitterness that stays. Rather raw tones.
Medium carbonation, a bit watery, but with a dry finish.
Quite ok as an ale, but not Nynäs' best.

The colour is amber-copper; the finger thick head is beige. Some lacing occurs.
The smell is yeasty and somewhat bitter. Flowers, overripe fruits, sweet caramel, some earthy sour notes, dry hoppy flavours of butter and matured cheese. It is a bit unclean in a way I'm not very pleased about.
The taste is more balanced than the scent: A fine, mildly sweet, malty background is completed by flavours of fruits/flowers/hay and a robust dry bitterness. The body is low to medium. The bitterness builds in the aftertaste with notes of wax, beans and vegetables, some caramel and fruit candy. Although the bitterness is quite strong at some points, it fades quickly leaving room for a hoppy, somewhat robust flavour.
The carbonation is medium, the small bubbles are fresh; the liquid is smooth, almost a little thick for the style.
Well... Is it just me, or are all (Swedish?) organic beers a little unclean/earthy? This one was below average and a bit of a disappointment - Nynäshamn beers should be better than this.

A: It pours amber with slight brown tones. A bit hazy and a white head that starts off all right (a bit uneven) but fades away to fast and leaves some lace.
S: The first thing that hits the nose is bitter hops, but then there is somewhat sweet malt, a bit yeast and some fruit (bananas).
T: Bitter hops (and faint floral hops)! Then there is sweetness from the malt, but also fruit - both citrus and bananas.
M: Mediumbodied with small bubbles, and the aftertaste is dry and very bitter - just the way I like it!
D: This is very nice. The bitter hops dominate, and from there you can't go wrong. I'll buy this again!
