When pouring the beer, it goes in the Brown / Red color. The foam is svårflörtat, but is white. The foam disappears rather quickly, leaving no trace. The aroma is malty and slightly bitter with hints of hops. Smelling of alcohol, citric acid, orange, grapefruit, toffee, spices. Sweet tones and some bread. The flavor of hops, bitter, a bit dry and little bitter. Orange, Citrus, then comes alcoholic husband who is a bit too high. Hint of malic acid, slightly dry and bitter. It has a medium body. A little small dry with medium low carbonation. The aftertaste is slightly bitter and dry, and alcohol taste.

Tasting this beer well chilled poured from a bottle into a shaker glass.

A: Crystal clear, light-copper-colored, a pretty large and thick foam head is created and stays for a while. Giving the glass a twirl shows plenty of carbonation bubbles as well.

S: Hoppy and sweet, sweet like in caramel sweet, probably lots of caramel malt in here.

T: Generously hopped and well combined with lots of sweet caramel malts. The taste is pretty much as what you did expect from smelling it.

M: The hops and sweet caramel starts off with giving you a smooth feel before the carbonation comes in and together with the hops turns into a more bitter experience.

O: A pretty hoppy (not too hoppy) double IPA that is well combined with lots of sweet notes from caramel malt.

A: The color is dark amber and there is a small cloudyness in the liquid. The foam dissipates quickly, leaving nearly no lacing at all.

S: Some caramel and berries, citrus and pine. It doesn't smell much at all, though.

T: Malty with grassy notes, peppers and wet paper. Aftertaste is like old hazelnuts. No remarkable bitterness.

M: The liquid is a little thick and there is some kind of skunkiness in it.

Overall a disappointment. Ok, it's a quite good beer but I expect more from a DIPA.

A: Pours a bright copper tone color with a high, but quickly disappearing, head.

S: Heavy tones of american hops, they claim to have overdosed the hops when brewing and you can really sense it. Some malt shines through, a mild creaminess is also there. Other than that there's mostly citrus, peach and summer berries. A finish with a slight sent of plums.

T: An expected bitterness from the first sip, followed up by a slight metallic tone. Tastes of ginger, cream and a warming tone of alcohol. Hints of citrus and lime, but not as heavy as in the nose.

Nice thin carbonation and small bubbles provides a nice mouthfeel and I want to have another sip as soon as possible.
Sure, the taste isn't fantastic, but the appearance, the smell and mouthfeel weigh up for it in a good way. Also, I love the 25 cl bottle, less is certainly more.

This amber elegant looking beer leaves a one finger head wich quickly fades and leaves some nice lacing. It looks like this beer has some kind of pride.

Wow! This was not what I expected. It smells almost like a sour beer with lots of sour apple and yeast. There's also some lemon peel and dry grass.

Lots of bitterness in the taste. Some citrus and dry grass, but other than that, this beer doesn't give me much... A hint of honey maybe.

The mouthfeel is dry and slightly creamy.

For a DIPA this is a disappointment, but for any random beer it's quite good.

The colour is brown with a tint of red, the liquid is very clear. The thick finger thick head is pale amber. It leaves some lacing on the glass.

The smell is very malty with bitter notes of American hops - the notorious citric fruits; grape fruit, bitter orange marmalade, orange peels. There are sweet malty notes of rye bread and biscuits. Hints of raisins, resin and rowanberry jam.

The initial taste is dry and bitter, almost tart. Some citric (lemom) hops and a sour hint of apple acid. The malt is surprisingly light and dry: Hints of raisins, dough and plums. The body is medium to weak. The aftertaste is somewhat bitter and dry; notes of exotic fruits and bitter herbs. Some sweet hints in the finish.

The carbonation is medium to mild, the bubbles small. The liquid is light and dry.

An odd DIPA: I cannot find the grand amounts of hops, nor the dense malty background to balance those hops. It is more tart than bitter.

25 cl long-necked brown bottle. The label is deep green and has got a picture of the "Draget channel".

A: Pours deep amber with a pretty large slight off-white head. Kind of compact. Slow dissipation leaves great spiderweb-like lacings.

S: Light roasted caramell malt together with American bitter and floral hops. Citric and piney. Faint tart.

T: Bitter and piney from the hops. Caramell and butter. Grapefruits and lemon sezt.

M: Great long dry aftertaste. Body is medium to full and carbonation is medium, well balanced.

D: A well balanced beer. Great hops that doesn't take over (to much) from the nice caramell malt.

Pours a slightly hazy amber with an off-white yellowish tight head, lasting some time ad elaving little lacing.

Smells of american hops, with grapefruit, a little passion fruit and a hint of bandaids, backed up by a malty cookie dough sweetness.

What first strikes me taste-wise is that there is hardly any bitterness in this beer... From the hoppy nose I had really expected a marked and long bitterness, but no. Taste starts off with a light fruity bitterness, like the peeling of a citrus fruit, then there are some american hops, but they are not at all as pronounced as I had expected, almost resembels raw vegetables more than the tropical fruits you usually get from american hops... The underwhelming hop ends in what should have been a bitterness in the end, but as mentioned, not much of that, all backed up by a light sweetness from the cracker-like malts...

Mouthfeel is medium, but actually gets watery in the end, not very awesome.
