Fast becoming one of my favorite beers(if I can find it). I first had this on tap and brought it home in a growler. I really enjoyed it. I then picked up two bombers and just love it. A honey, biscuity, malty ale. A lighter easy drinking ale with some real good body to it. A very floral nose and a chewy body. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite ales.

[Forced notes due to an outlier rating.]

Dry and starchy, with an ABV high enough to take it way out of the conventions of the traditional style. The yeast guidance is nice, but its parching dry unrefreshing feel is criminal in a proper patersbier or enkel. A swing and a miss, but still an average beer worth trying.

A wonderfully complex beer that's not overboard on alcohol. I mean, for a patersbier it is. This abbey would have to be a somewhat questionable one if everyone was drinking this for sustenance all day.

Anyway, nice biscuity malt flavor that somehow blends perfectly with a mild tartness, very mild sweetness and an all-around crisp, dry feel without a hop-forward flavor. This stuff rocks.
