Fast becoming one of my favorite beers(if I can find it). I first had this on tap and brought it home in a growler. I really enjoyed it. I then picked up two bombers and just love it. A honey, biscuity, malty ale. A lighter easy drinking ale with some real good body to it. A very floral nose and a chewy body. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite ales.

[Forced notes due to an outlier rating.]

Dry and starchy, with an ABV high enough to take it way out of the conventions of the traditional style. The yeast guidance is nice, but its parching dry unrefreshing feel is criminal in a proper patersbier or enkel. A swing and a miss, but still an average beer worth trying.

Poured from a bottle into a snifter. Slightly cloudy golden color with thin head and no lacing. Floral and herbal smell and taste. Spicy and a little lemon. An enjoyable beer!

Poured gently at 47°F from a 22oz bottle (no date) into a tulip. Consumed on 16Feb16.
LOOK: Pours with a half fingers worth of white foam that shrivels into a line within 30 seconds. Pale yellow in color with an extreme amount of cloudiness. Rising bubbles are both large and medium in size and very subtle in quantity. There is also a very subtle amount of large bubbles that are just sitting on the bottom of the glass. Lacing is thin and subtle.
SMELL: Mild aromas of bananas, cloves, and lemon zest and backed by subtle white grape, pear, sour green apple, and biscuit aromas.
TASTE: Mild banana and clove flavors first strike the palate and are immediately followed and balanced by subtle floral hop flavors (weren't detected in the smell). Mild pear and white grape flavors enter next along with subtle sour green apple as banana and clove flavors grow slightly stronger. Mild lemon zest and subtle biscuit flavors are the last to make their debut onto the taste buds as all previous flavors persist, except for banana and clove, which continue to grow stronger.
FEEL: Light-bodied and highly carbonated. Goes down rough due to the carbonation. Finishes with a strong dryness.
NOTE: A good beer whose major downfall was it's poor mouthfeel. Thin and carbonated has never been something that I have enjoyed. As far as taste goes, this was great. The clove flavors could of been toned down just a tad bit.
