Probably let this one fade as there’s not a ton of chocolate. Bitter coffee presence is still there. Light to medium bodied, a minimally oily feel to it, strong booze presence. Good, not great. Would definitely drink fresher if I have it again.

First had at Orpheus Tasting Room, Atlanta, on 6-oz. draft into footless modern tulip.
Chocolate, a whole bunch of stuff happening in the middle I didn’t understand, and a dry cocoa finish.

12 ounce can - $3.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
CANNED ON 12/19/18.
Appearance: Deep, inky blackness. A very dark beer. Thin, dark brown head that fades rather quickly.
Smell: Roasted malts with a strong chocolate chip and coffee bean leaning, subtly nutty, dark fruitiness and a smidgen of vanilla liqueur.
Taste: Roasty, chocolaty with coffee, vanilla, syrup and undercurrents of charred toast and oven-roasted nuts. Moderately sweet. Slight, slender dark fruitiness. Some alcohol heat. Turns slightly tart and remains sweetish nearing the smooth, albeit flat finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-full body. Very light carbonation.
Overall: I know near-flat to flat is all the rage, but what I wouldn't give for some suds in this thing. As it stands, it's a bit lifeless. Otherwise, the flavor is decent, not great and certainly warm, though falling well short of any harshness.
