Pours a nice copper color with a thick tan head. Rather sticky, leaving a decent lacing down the glass.
Smell is a bit overly spicy. Most noticeable would be cinnamon and ginger. A bit sweet to balance this out and little or no hop aroma.
Taste starts off a bit sweet, definitely malty. Then come the various spice note and a little bit of a citrus/fruity flavor. Hop bitterness is minimal.
Mouthfeel is a medium-bodied, with a lots of carbonation. Spice and alcohol give this winter brew a nice warming effect.
Overall an enjoyable winter brew, but not quite the bock I was expecting.
