Deep amber with thin taupe head and the odd trailer.
Malt syrup loaf and winter spice nose.
Ginger bread, toffee bark and stewed prunes up front with some noble bite and orange oil and spice warmth underneath.
Spice cookie finish and dry linger. Crisp, thin, oily, prickly.
A strange one - a spiced dark wheat lager. A bit too lively, doesn't have the smoothness of wheat and the body doesn't quite hold the spice. But drinkable, I'd buy this for family Christmas dinner.
