No date on this one. Poured it into a tulip.
Appearance: Looks medium dark, about as a bock should be. No head to speak of. No lacing at all.
Smell: Mild spicy aroma, and malty.
Taste: Better than the smell... Malty richness with the expected winter brew spice flavor. Aftertaste is my favorite part of it, with a nice malt character. Some hops at the end.
Mouthfeel: A pretty smooth drinker, with a mildly oily finish and a medium body.
Overall: This is an average beer. I'm beginning to think that winter spicy lagers aren't really on my desired beer radar. It wasn't bad, just not something I'm going to spend my money on again.
