A: Dark copper, orange, bright color, with off white head that does not stay as long as I would have liked, minimal lacing
Smell: Complex aromas of a geat lager combined with some cinnamon and ginger spice notes.
Taste: Malt up front combined with the spices, gives the beer a warm ending that sneaks up on you. Finishes mainly with the spice notes and just a ever so slight hop bitterness. Complex again.
M: Good medium body and leaving a smooth feel on your
tongue and on the roof of your mouth.
O: I thought I would be offended by the spices in this one but it is very well done, adding a complexity to the beer rather than over powering it. Well done and would drink again for a winter warmer.
