Appearance - Dark brownish amber color, about a one-inch head which dissipated slowly.
Smell - Somewhat spiced and sweet smell with a metallic hint.
Taste - Smooth, any seasonal spices are hard to identify. The aftertaste doesn't linger but it's not so pleasant, slight metallic taste.
Mouthfeel - smooth, not thick, not drying, carbonation is present but not overly powerful
Drinkability - The alcohol taste is minimal, doesn't taste like over 5%. That said, I generally prefer a beer with more flavor. Next to a traditional American lager it might have some winter spices noticeable but on its own it's not impressive, especially compared to other seasonal, craft beers.
Glad to have tried it and I would like to continue trying more seasonal lagers since most of the seasonal beers I've tried so far have been pale ales.
