A- Poured into a pilsner glass. a copper amber lager with 1 1/2 finger head on it. Not the greatest head retention as it quickly dissipated to almost nothing.
S- Has some roasted aroma to it probably stemming from the spices. That gives way to the malty characters and bready yeast notes. As it warms up I can pick out a touch of cinnamon floating in there. Also getting what smells like a hint of vanilla as well.
T- This one tastes almost just like it smells. Some malty flavors and subtle spices. I would say it has a caramel flavor in there but because of the spices it makes the caramel taste like it's burnt. The finish has a touch of bitterness to it left over from the hops.
M- little heavy on the carbonation but not by much. Has a good body to it. Creamy finish.
O- Not a huge lager fan but this one was nice. Not really the best of the SA holiday pack but still keeps ya nice and toasty on those cold winter nights.
