Let me first say that I am not typically a huge fan of the Octoberfest style of beer, BUT I do enjoy this particular one. -Poured into a Sam Adams Boston Lager glass-
A: Orange and gold, perhaps a touch copper, but not like a Boddingtons, much more on the orange tint. Good head, about two fingers with good retention until the end of the pint.
S: Malty, no real hop scent, good for style, no skunk which is often the case with the German imports that may have been sitting on the shelf since the October last. (Props to SA for using such dark bottles too)
T: Malty, caramel.
M & D: A bit heavy compared to some of the others, but enjoyable. I easily went through the six pack with a friend of mine.
Serving type: bottle
