Poured from bottle into a weizen glass. Best by Aug. 2011 notched on label.
A: Slightly cloudy and golden with moderate carbonation. Decent foamy head that mostly dissipates and leaves very little lacing.
S: Peppery grains of paradise with a lot of malt and wheat.
T: Wheat with lemon and sour cherry. An unexpected amount of tartness. More of a grassy backbone than malt or wheat. No hops presence to speak of. Peppery notes from the grains of paradise.
M: Light bodied with a pucker factor from the tartness. Leaves the mouth dry without any of the pleasantries of hops.
O: A below average American Pale Wheat Ale and overall a beer I simply don't enjoy. I won't be trying this again.

A: Golden orange sunset transparency, sliver of head, mild random carbonation visible, TONS of lacing.
S: Hops forward, slight spice or grain presence.
T: Mellowed hops, slight orange.
M: Light body, light-medium carbonation. Really pleasant and refreshing.
O: Love it. Wondering if the mellowed hops on draft turns into A LOT of hops out of the bottle. If not, this will most definitely be in the summer rotation with Dos Equis and Troegs Sunshine Pils.
