On tap at Phoenix airport in the jackalope bar, served in a Sam Adams perfect pint glass.
Amber-tan and clear, with tons of rising bubbles. They poured off a little of the head, but there was still a good inch left when I got it, properly suspended on the upper rim of the SA glass. Lacing for a lager was quite good. It's a great looking beer.
Smell wise this beer has lots of great hops, along with a nice biscuit malt backbone.
Taste wise this beer was a hugely delicious way to spend a three hour layover. Hops are so smooth yet crisp, balanced with a great bready and caramel malts, and a bit of a nutty flavor too.
Feel wise it's crisp, light, and delicious. Bitterness lingers nicely.
Overall it's a damn fine beer, but considerably better when it's on tap and you've got plenty of time to kill between flights.
Serving type: on-tap
