Probably the main beer that folks think of when they hear about Brewer and patriot Samuel Adams. I should probably preface this in that I really prefer Ales to Lagers but htis one is not bad a lagers go.
Pours a golden amber color with a very thin head that disappears quickly. Sweet malty aroma w/ a little hops. taste is much of the same. A little bitter at first with the maltiness that follows with a dry finish. I like it an will opt for it over any other lager that is served.
This beer helped kickstart the microbrew revolution and with the wide availability now, I think this is close to not qualifying as a micro anymore.
