22 oz. bomber poured into a Dogfish Head signature glass (February 27, 2010). The "May | 2010" tab is punched on the left edge of the label.
I've had this many times before (who hasn't?), now it's time for the review.
Eyes: Pours a slightly dark, golden amber. A full two-finger fluffy head climbs to the rim, color is off white. Fairly good retention, with a solid finger of foam clinging to the rim even as the glass empties.
Nose: Toasty, sweet malts and a hint of floral hops in here also. Very earthy and inviting.
Tongue: Some very tasty, toasted, biscuit malts and a touch of dry fruit. There is some bitterness, but just enough to carry the flavor. A very nice profile.
Mouth: Good carbonation, a bit thicker on the palate than other lagers, but very nice.
Libation: A very tasty brew that goes with almost anything and is available almost anywhere across the US. This isn't a jaw dropper of awesomeness for me, but I'm very happy to see a quality lager beer option that's readily available.
If you are ever trying to suggest craft beer to macro-heads, you probably can't do much better than Boston Lager as your gateway beer.

330ml bottle. Stange glass @ L´Espumossa (Barcelona). Amber color, crystal clear appearance. White froth, thin but lively crown. Crystal malt, lager yeast, floral aromas & resinous hues. Toasted flavor & arising bitterness at first sip. Light to medium body. Moderate but lively carbonation. Clean bitterness & dried mouthfeel rounded by spicy touch. Subtle honey & lemon-tea hints linger into a long bitter finish. Mild toasted notes on the aftertaste. Refreshing & easy drinkable !!
