I've had this beer a lot but never really sat down to give it a fair review. Poured from 12oz bottle dated best by February 2012 into a Samuel Adams pint glass:
A: Pours a light, burnished orange color with a translucent and effervescent body. Boasts a thick, half inch head that sticks around a while with an eggshell hue. Looks very refreshing and Boston Beer Company did a great job making the Perfect Pint feel like it was the handcrafted delivery vessel for the brew.
S: Subtle grassy notes up front, very crisp aromas easily lead you to the delicately refreshing profile underneath. Refined and inviting.
T: Light touches of grassy hops are the first thing to wash over the palate, brushing gentle strokes of flavors that marry the hops and slightly sweet malts with well executed balance. Finishes very clean with a light, sweet malt touch.
M: Great smooth consistency. Medium bodied with lively carbonation and very easy on the palate. Crisp and refreshing.
O: Always a faithful standby, there is a reason the Samuel Adams Boston lager is the flagship brew of Boston Beer Company. Widely available and infinitely drinkable, you can't go wrong with this beer wherever you are. Delicacy and attention to detail are king for this style this beer; Boston Beer Company has done a great job!
