On the browner side of the color spectrum. Rosy red tints can be seen if you put it up to the light pint.
Aromatics are tame. Smells of bread, raisins and sassafras.
Malt dominates the flavor. Good malt at that. Rich caramel. The taste of this lager is rare in that it gives you chocolate hints as well as grapefruit hints. A bit metallic in the middle. Pretty slick. Hops and malts are unified at the finish.
Mouthfeel is a bit prickly for my taste. Carbonation could be more restrained.
