A: Pours a crystal clear amber in color. The beer has a finger tall creamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Significant lacing is observed.
S: Moderate aromas of grainy malts with some light amounts of sweetness and floral hops.
T: The beer has flavors of both caramel malts (contributing some sweetness) and biscuit malts. There is a light presence of floral hops that contribute some light bitterness in the finish.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.
O: This beer is very easy to drink and definitely quite sessionable. To me this was a gateway beer to the craft beer scene, way back in the early 1990s when I first started to drink it. The beer has a nice flavor but it is not one of my overall favorites.

Large fluffy head with good lacing. The head sticks around for a long time. Beautiful light copper colored beer. Very clear. Moderate carbonation with large bubbles.
Hops are dominant. Some malt sweetness in the background.
Tastes like it smells, but with a slightly harsh bitterness to the finish. There is just something about the flavor profile that I don't like. It is too harsh for the style. It tastes like the ingredients are good quality. It just comes across as unpleasantly harsh on the finish.
Medium bodied. Good mouthfeel, but that weird lingering harshness detracts from the experience.
This is a pretty good beer that for some reason just doesn't sit right with my palate.
