Came as part of the Sam Adams Winter Sampler. Poured into a glass tankard from a 12oz bottle. Had the Boston Lager multiple times but decided to do a proper review.
Appearance - Gold with a touch of red. Decent head that is white with a gold hint to it. Maintains a minimal head while drinking, and a decent lacing to the glass.
Smell - Fruity hops and malt. The hops smell unlike any other that I have come across, they are delightful.
Taste - Initial taste of the hops then the aftertaste of the malt. The hops have a unique fruity flavor to them.
Mouthfeel - Smooth, moderate amount of carbonation (not overpowering but evident).
Drinkability - Could be a good session beer for some, although I'd rather have just one at a time. Probably one of the best beers in its class, but I find other Sam Adams beers to be better.
