Poured into a pilsner glass. About time I get to try this, too. It's most definitely an important classic in the craft beer world.

There's a nice little amber color, a fluffy head, and lots of carbonation. Simple and to the point. What wonderfully looking lager that this is.

The smell is delicious and refreshing. A sugary aroma, near tartiness, and filled with crisp cereal grains and tons of orange/citrus fruitiness underneath.

While the flavor is leaning towards the malty, grainy side, there's enough hops in here to hold long term interest for me. The yeasty flavor really clashes well with the clear and clean tasting flavors. While the carbonation can be a bit too much at times, it adds a kick that is fun and noticeable. I wish this were sweeter, but overall this is a nicely balanced beer that's easily a crowd pleaser.

While not my favorite lager (not sweet enough, as said earlier) this is still quite good. Definitely a staple that I wish others would follow in making good quality Euro lagers, and has remained this way for decades.
