Served out of a bottle. Upon opening some smoke came out. It has a white one finger head that laces pretty excessively. The body is a lighter brownish color that almost reminds me of an adjunct lager but is a bit darker than that. Bubbles also rise to the top.

The smell is of hops, and caramel malt.

The taste is very very hoppy with a hint of caramel malt. The aftertaste is very hoppy also. This for me is very pleasing as I enjoy this combination.

The mouthfeel is pretty good and the beer is carbonated.

Overall its a nice hoppy beer. Very enjoyable. give this one a try.

A - Very nice, clear copperish pour with a one finger white head. Head shrunk down quickly however and the lacing was dismal in the standard pint glass. EDIT: Lacing far better second time around.

S - Lightly toasted maltiness, some bready scent, bit of caramel, and some hop aroma.

T - Pleasantly sweet in the front from the caramel malt. Bready in nature as well before giving way to a complimentary spicy profile from the hops and a moderate bitterness to balance.

MF - Lighter side of medium bodied, but bigger than its ABV suggests. Drinkable and light enough to session but without sacrificing taste. Perfect carbonation, nice finish.

O - The one that introduced me to better beers. Tasty, balanced, affordable. Great feel, sessionable. Works throughout the year. A staple for a reason.

Poured into a pint glass. Pours a light amber color with a finger of creamy white head. A bit of lace on the rim.

A little bit of grassy hops and a little bit of fruitiness in the background. The flavor is full of grassy hops with some notes of caramel with some rich malts here.

The body is light with good carbonation. Overall this one is really a staple. I've had hundreds of times and I'll have it again. It's never m first choice, but it never seems to be a bad one.
