This one looks rather nice. I got just over a finger of light brown head over a nearly black body. The head recedes slowly. Decent lace.
Smells of malt and christmas. Really. It names cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger on the bottle, and you can clearly make them all out. Dark fruit fills out the impression.
Up front is bready malt with sweet dark fruit. This is closely followed by the spices. Nutmeg and ginger are powerful, with clove finishing it off.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied. It goes down rather quick and easy, leaving a little residue on the back and middle of the tongue. Carbonation is easy going.
