Poured from a bottle into pint glass.
Appearance: Very dark black, with a thick dark tan head. The head lasts for a while and leaves a nice coating on the inside of the glass.
Smell: A pleasant sweet aroma. I can smell various spices, especially the pumpkin influences.
Taste: Very nice and a unique taste. I can definitely taste the pumpkin and other spices, which makes for a unique taste when combined with the typical malts. This is one of the best pumpkin ales I have tried.
This is an interesting seasonal beer by the Boston Beer Company. I would buy this again.
