12 oz. brown long neck with a freshness date scored. A blurb on the neck stating "Samuel Adams Spring Ale celebrates fresh American Ale ... brewed in the classic Kolsch style ..."
Appearance: Brilliantly clear copper hue, two fingers of froth leave a white lace that sticks a little bit.
Smell: Juicy fruit and oily hop with a side of pale malt make up the aroma.
Taste & Mouthfeel: Moderate body, thin malt though strong enough to hold the brew together. Twang of wheat malt. Crisp bready malt melds with a fruity ,yet even, hop bitterness and some Kent Goldings oily flavour for good measure ride deep into the after taste.
Notes: Fresh tasting and very thirst quenching, nothing spectacular … just an all around good beer.
Serving type: bottle
