Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a very hazy yellowish golden orange with a lot of fast rising bubbles. Big three finger white head with good retention. Leaves a lot of creamy lacing around the glass.

Smell: A crips, juicy, and spicy wheat driven aroma with good hints of citrus and pepper. Upfront wheat and pale malt with hints of grains, yeast, straw, cracker, and biscuit. Big spice hints of coriander and white pepper. Fruit hints of orange, lemon, and light plum. Subtle background hints of Noble hops. A pretty solid crisp aroma.

Taste: Like the aroma hints at, a crisp and clean wheat driven taste with good notes of citrus and pepper. Upfront taste of wheat and pale malt with notes of grains, straw, yeast, cracker, and biscuit. Spice notes of coriander and white pepper. Citrus fruit notes of orange and lemon along with a light note of plum. Background notes of Noble hops add a little drying bitterness. A pretty solid light wheat beer taste.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a medium to high level of carbonation. Crisp, clean, creamy, and very smooth.

Overall: A pretty decent take on a Witbier. Good mix of citrus fruit esters and coriander spice.

12 oz bottle, poured into a tulip glass at approximately 40 degrees F.

A: Pours an orange-tinted gold so cloudy that one cannot even see the shadow of their fingers on the other side of the glass. Forms a thin, short-lived pale head which becomes a ring rather quickly.

S: The aroma is reminiscent of a spiced, mulled orange juice, with heavy citrus notes shot through with coriander and herbal spiciness. There's a very faint touch of funk as well, as though that orange juice were a bit past its expiration date.

T: Sour, tart citrus rolls through the palate with this beer, a mix of orange and grapefruit, both more sour than sweet as if a shade underripe. There's a heavy dose of coriander as well, staying solidly level from opening to finish, and a faint aura of funk drifting by in the background. As the beer warms, the taste profile remains the same, oddly enough.

M: Light, lively, and inviting to drink quickly, this is a refreshing wheat beer.

O: Not a bad take on a witbier, if a bit less complex than I'd prefer.

This beer poured a hazy orange color with a small white head. There was a bit of lace.

A peppery, spicy nose. Maybe a little citrus?

Taste of pepper and coriander. And yes, some orange.

This beer didn't really do anything for me. Thin, not much to it.

At $2.99 for a bomber, I thought it was a good price. It just isn't a very good beer.
