A: Pours a hazy golden orange with a clinging, creamy white head that recedes quickly, but never completely dissipates.

S: Aromas of wheat, cream, grass, plum, coriander, orange, hibiscus flowers, and mildly spicy yeast are present on the nose.

T: Notes of wheat toast, cream, biscuit, grass, straw, and herbs are supported by delicate notes of coriander, ripe plum, orange peel, and hibiscus flowers. The finish is brief and floral with robust notes of wheat toast, cream, hibiscus, and orange.

M: On the lighter side of medium, silky, and creamy with very delicate, yet active carbonation. This is far from a traditionally dry, spritzy witbier, but it is still very appealing and very easy to drink.

O: I used to love the original Samuel Adams White Ale and have expressed varying degrees of satisfaction and disappointment with each subsequent take on the style the company has released. Cold Snap, however, takes me back to my discovery of that beer and my early days of imbibing craft beers. If you, like me, enjoyed the original Samuel Adams White Ale, you will be delighted to know that Cold Snap is a worthy replacement. Many of the flavor components are the same, and all in all, it is probably as close to the original as we are going to get at this point.

This beer poured a hazy orange color with a small white head. There was a bit of lace.

A peppery, spicy nose. Maybe a little citrus?

Taste of pepper and coriander. And yes, some orange.

This beer didn't really do anything for me. Thin, not much to it.

At $2.99 for a bomber, I thought it was a good price. It just isn't a very good beer.
