From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with an April 2014 expiration date. Sampled on January 10, 2014.
It has a cloudy but decently carbonated golden yellow pour that leads up to a long lasting soft white head.
There are bready and toasted malts on the nose along with oats, orange peel and mellow pepper and spices.
The body is about medium and very smooth.
The taste is also of soft and breaded malts with a notable oat character followed by a crispy mlldly bitter lingering finish.

cold snap is a fresh tasting little brew. it pours a cloudy straw yellow. the smell is a mix of light fruit and coriander. the taste is really light. there isnt much going on. this is a good beer to compete with blue moon drinkers. over all its not a bad beer if you are in the mood for a light citrus. i may buy some of this and save it for warmer months, i think it would be better in the summer.

Best before 4/2014.
Pours a murky light orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, yeast, spice, and fruity aromas. Taste is much the same with fruit and floral flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a nice fruity presence in the aroma and flavor.
