Nice lush auburn brown color with a dense head that sticks around pretty well.
Aroma is subtle fruits and a little bit of hot metal.
Taste is nice and balanced. Plenty of bread and caramel coming through but not too much else. Slightly more bitter and complex than Boston Lager, but not much more. Nutty finish.
Tight and controlled carbonation, leaving a pretty soft creamy feel in the mouth.
Very quaffable and enjoyable, but certainly nothing to seek out.
Serving type: on-tap

poured from bottle to teku glass
A- pours a clear, deep amber color with a nice two-finger creamy off-white head that retains nicely, eventually leaving behind some nice lacing
S- caramel and buttery malt, earthy and fruity hops, sweet doughy bread
T- buttery caramel english malt, fruity hops with some herbal and earthy notes, bready malty finish with a caramel linger
M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a creamy mouthfeel and a smooth and silky finish
O- loves the bready caramel sweetness, my favor interpretation of an english pale thus far
