Was at a tap takeover and it was suggested. I had never had a dunkel before but was willing to try. It had a dark amber color to it with little head. Had a few different smells going on. I definitely picked up on some fruitiness. Taste was a little surprising: I didn't get and oak smell but I definitely got an oak taste. Also had a citrus taste. Don't think I'd order it again. Nothing against the beer, I just don't think it was my kind of beer.

A: cloudy; amberish brown in color; 1 finger off white head that receded to a thin collar; no lacing;
S: clove, banana, a little bubble gum and a little caramel;
T: clove and banana up front; smokiness - like smoked bacon - comes in pretty quickly and is dominant by the end; almost no bitterness;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;
O: no oak in the aroma, but it's very noticeable in the flavor;
