Pours very dark brown with dark tan to amber highlights. Moderate off-white head thar recedes quickly with a little lacing left behind.
Aroma is mostly nutty and roasty, with a hint of chocolate and very light caramel. Taste is much more chocolaty, though not a dark chocolate taste, more a milk chocolate. A lightly roasty malt backbone with some bready notes and decent bitterness in the background. Mouthfeel is fairly bubbly considering the low level of head formation. Finishes nicely with a dry chocolate finish.
Pretty tasty overall, but I feel like there should be a price component of reviews because this is pretty tasty, but its not $20 a bottle quality. So, while the beer is highly drinkable, I took a bit off due to the high price which at the end of the day impacts drinkability for me, in a way.
