A very dark brown pour that shows off amber tints when held to the light. The head is small and tannish. This one is a nice whiffer. It is loaded with roasty aromas. There is a lot of dark and sweet chocolate coming out as well.
It is very smooth with light carbonation, even creamy at times. The chocolate flavor is nice and not overdone, although it does get a bit big. Hot chocolate and milky flavors start you off. The roasty coffee flavors come in a bit later to add needed complexity. The balance is very nice, and it has enough going on to keep it interesting. I could have more than one if I were in the mood, but it sure does well as a nice treat after dinner. This is an interesting one.
