A: Pours a dark brown; not quite black because ruby highlights are apparent. Initially, there was about a finger and a half of light brown head; however, dies down to a fain ring; no lacing.
S: Overpowering cocoa notes maybe some candied sugar in there as well. In fact, I would say this beer practically smells like candy overall.
T: The taste is practically the same. However, this is a problem for me. It tastes more like artificial chocolate syrup than real cocoa. there is also no hop presence whatsoever which makes it more unbalanced than it should be.
M: smooth and creamy; the best aspect of the beer.
O: decent, but would never buy this as a 6 pack or individual bottle for that matter. It is fine where it is as a novelty in a variety pack.
