Pours a deep, rich, black color. Off-white foamy head that dissipates almost immediately. Absolutely no head or lacing.
Smells of malt, coffee, and chocolate. Hints of roasted coffee beans, but not overpowering. Smell is a little weak.
Sweet, malty, roasted chocolate and coffee. Full bodied, with a sweet, roast chocolate after taste. Not too sweet, hints of bitter-sweet chocolate.
Mouthfeel is creamy, rich, full bodied and smooth. Not much carbonation.
A very nice holiday beer. But not something I would drink every day.
