Second I've tried of the winter 12-er I just picked up tonight.
Well, this is a strange brew indeed. It pours very dark with reddish hints around the edges of the glass. Reminiscent of Coke. Aroma... there is none to speak of to start with; once it warms a little, you pick up some faint sweet chocolate and Tootsie Roll. It's pleasant enough. Taste is very unusual. Nothing up front, and then a massive wave of sweet chocolate and something akin to Raisin Bran, and some rum raisins as well. Sounds very odd but it seems to work.
This could easily be called Rum Raisin Bran Bock and it would pass. I have a feeling you'll either really like this one or absolutely hate it.
