Pours a darkish brown black with a nice head that leaves pretty quickly and doesnt leave much lacing. The smell is of roasted malt and a slight bit of chocolate. In the beginning of the taste I get a strong roasted malt presence followed by sweet chocolate. The chocolate is there but not overwhelming. For a beer with chocolate in the name its not too sweet, but sweet enough to enjoy a few of these beers. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy, and for a heavy bock the drinkability aint too bad.
