12 oz. brown bottle. Fresh.
A: Pours a deep black with a nice cocoa colored head that
turns thin within a minute. Lots of carbonation can be seen.
S: A weak mixture of roasted malts, cocoa and faint hops.
T/M: First thing I notice is the sweetness. After that a
mixture of roasted malts and chocolate flavors create a nice
smooth feel. Alcohol comes through a little and theirs not
much of a hop presence. A semi-bitter aftertaste.
O: A little to sweet for me. A Bock? Excellent chocolate
presence saves the brew a little. However, not much else
going on for it.
