A: Dark clear black with a small and quickly dissipating cream colored head.
S: malt and chocolate notes. Did nothing to warn me of the chocolate flavor overload I was about to experience.
T: Chocolate blitzkrieg. Vanilla overload. Notes of plum and walnut, but hidden behind a very syrupy, hershey milk chocolate flavor. Overly sweet.
M: Medium body, light carbonation.
O: More along the lines of a gimmicky beer, it really fits the bill as a chocolate brew, just not a very good one. I could imagine this being used as a lure for someone who doesn't necessarily like craft beer as an example of how far ranging and accessible the taste spectrum goes. I'll save the other one from the winter pack for someone who doesnt like beer. To say, "hey, i know you dont like beer, but I know you like cocoa crispies in chocolate milk... try this."
