A- dark brown with ruby on the edges. a finger of head that's nice and thick, but dissipates a little quickly.
S- coffee and roasted malts dominate the scent, though chocolate does push its way through.
MF- smooth, thick and velvety, although the carbonation is a tad too low.
T- sweet and chocolatey right away. the sweetness seems to be a bit more from sugar, rather than malt. the roasted malts are more hidden than they were in the scent. they do kick in a little after a few seconds, along with a hint of coffee flavors.
O- seems to be better this year than it has been previously. overall, it's a solid product.
