A: deep brown amber with slight auburn hues when held to the light; ultra thin ring of head with even slighter lacing that quickly dissipates...
S: mildly roasted malt and caramel character and super slight dry notes of chocolate
T: super mild peppery bitterness up front with an equally mild malty middle, followed at last by a subtle bit of chocolate on the finish
M: dry and crisp, thin bodied.
D: this is a very accessible and subtle bitter. Underwhelming but still pleasant. Of course, since the day Boston Beer company makes a true dud beer is the day non-Yankees fans become relevant. :)
